Jim Boeheim ejected at the end of Syracuse vs. Duke game

Jim Boeheim lost his cool at the end of the Syracuse vs. Duke game and was ejected from the game in the final seconds.

Syracuse Orange head coach Jim Boeheim blew up at the end of the team's loss to the Duke Blue Devils after an offensive charge was called against Syracuse in the final moments. Syracuse, down two, had a chance to tie the game down two with 10 seconds left. C.J. Fair's shot attempt went in, but he was called for the offensive foul.

Boeheim took to the court immediately, blowing up on the referees. Here's the blow up that led to Boeheim to getting ejected during the regular season for the first time in his career:

Boeheim continued to argue with the referees after the first technical foul was assessed, leading to a second technical foul and the Orange finishing the game without their head coach on the sideline.

Here's the play that triggered Boeheim's reaction:

Fair was called for a change on what would have been a game-tying basket. Duke went on to seal its 66-60 victory at the free-throw line. While the call went against Syracuse, the Orange still may have had another opportunity to tie the game. Boeheim's ejection effectively eliminated that opportunity and sealed the game for Duke.
