Scenes from the filming of 'Sharknado 2' at Citi Field

It appears people will fight sharks with bats?

They're making another Sharknado, in case you hadn't heard. The plot of Sharknado 2: The Second One is totally original-- it's another cyclone with sharks in it, it's still Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, but it's in NEW YORK this time. Completely different!

Anyway, it's New York, and you can't have movie of this scope without a stadium, so some scenes were filmed at Citi Field this week:

Yeah, they have huge bats.

That's right, there will be an even bigger disaster than THE METS at Citi Field this season! [PLEASE CLICK THIS BUTTON FOR RAUCOUS LAUGHTER].

Oh, and in case you're wondering where the sharks are, here's the Daily News:

The sharks will be added later with computer graphics.

The magic of cinema!
