Cavs fans in Cleveland love to storm the court. It's the darnedest thing. It's happened before when LeBron James and the Heat were visiting. It happened twice (that we know of) this season, with Kyrie Irving as the apparent target both times.
Well, the Heat were in town Tuesday night, and a LeBron visit is primetime for Cleveland court-stormin', especially because he gave a previous court-stormer some attention. It didn't take long:
Scotty's pre-storm crowd-sourced motivation publicity campaign began early:
1000 retweets I'll go on the court pic.twitter.com/Z3Kp2cbzR8— Scotty (@_GodsSoldier_10) March 18, 2014
The tweet caught a wave, and it became evident rather quickly that 1,000 RTs wouldn't be a problem:

We at SB Nation watched along:
At around 8:32 PM ET, Scotty's tweet hit the breaking point:
...and we waited. And we waited. And then...

When your at the cavs game don't even tweet about anything. They took me in a room with like 12 police officers #salty— Scotty (@_GodsSoldier_10) March 19, 2014
Surely for the best.
