Hero Cat will throw out a first pitch at a minor league baseball game

First Hero Cat conquered dogs. Then it conquered throwing baseballs?

Remember Hero Cat, the courageous kitty that saved a boy from a vicious dog?

We're not fully sure how that was SPORTS beforehand, but now it is Officially Sports: Hero Cat — her actual name is "Tara" — will throw out the first pitch at game for the Bakersfield Blaze, a Class A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds

Tara, an Internet sensation for a YouTube video showing her saving her boy from a dog attack, will "throw out" the ceremonial first pitch at the May 20 Bakersfield Blaze minor-league baseball game. The cat will get some help from her family, of course.

We're doubting the cat's ability to throw a baseball, but I've got faith in this kitty. She's already shown superfeline skills (cat version of superhuman) by scaring off a dog. I won't count out her ability to grow an arm or something. We've already seen robots and dinosaurs throw out first pitches in the past week, so, come on, cat. Show us your incredible talents once more.
