Pablo Larrazabal's golf ball gets stuck between upright fan's legs

Play it as it lies.

When we last checked in with Pablo Larrazabal, he was jumping in a pond to escape an attack by hornets at the Malaysian Open. While rare, getting stung by hornets is much more common than your golf shot settling off the ground, wedged between the legs of a standing spectator.

That's what happened to Larrazabal on Thursday at the BMW PGA Championship, the biggest event of the year on the Euro Tour. Larrazabal tweeted an image of the resting spot on the 18th hole at Wentworth:

And here's video from someone in the crowd. With a nearby spectator providing clucking noises, the man did eventually separate his legs to loosen Larrazabal's ball:

This season alone, we've seen balls get stuck to the side of a cactus, up in trees, in purses or bags, and folding chairs, but this is a new one.
