Joel Embiid learned that he's a bad recruiter

The 76ers rookie really wanted to play with LeBron. That isn't happening.

Joel Embiid gave it the old college try, but now he's learned that this isn't college anymore. The 76ers rookie tried his best to convince LeBron James that Philadelphia was the answer, but it didn't work.

Now the poor kid is just questioning everything.

It's okay, though, because Embiid is still a better recruiter than a certain college coach known for his recruiting prowess.

But then Embiid got more bad news ... it looks like Cleveland could trade his college teammate, Andrew Wiggins, to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Love. Even if Embiid can't play with LeBron, he still wants his friend to have that honor.

But enough about all these other teams. No matter what happens, Embiid knows the Sixers are on their way to a championship ... right after the Spurs win another one.
