Tour de France stage winner tries to kiss podium girl, gets shut down

He got the yellow jersey, but he decidedly did not get the girl.

When a cyclist wins a stage of a big race, they are greeted on a stage with various awards by lovely young women. I don't know why this is the case -- every other sport chooses to have corporate randos or commissioners present trophies -- but it is.

When Vincenzo Nabali won Stage 2 of the Tour de France, with it earning the yellow jersey as the race's early leader, he tried to give each of the lovely young women next to him a kiss, but, uh, only one of the two was okay with that (H/T: For The Win).

Let's take another look:

Good on Podium Girl for not giving in to the peer pressure. And good on Nibali for finding love with the stuffed animal she gave him afterwards:
