Meet Avery Harriman. He's seven, and undergoing chemotherapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. His dad, Chris, is an assistant basketball coach for Nebraska, and one of the Cornhuskers' stars decided to let Avery know that being bald isn't the worst thing in the world:

Avery is an awesome kid -- his excited video upon being told he could go home from the hospital made the Today Show and the Nebraska athletic community has rallied around him -- football coach Bo Pelini wore an #AveryStrong shirt in an interview, and the entire team wore shirts to the state capitol to raise awareness:

There are a few ways you can help Avery. Liking his Facebook page is a start. You could buy one of those Avery Strong shirts -- they're $15 and the proceeds go to charities that can help Avery and kids like him.
