Ryan Mallet's clock problems are quickly becoming the thing of legend. This week he missed the team's flight to Miami, but this goes so much deeper than that.
- In August he missed practice because he overslept.
- In 2011 he missed meeting with the Panthers before the draft.
Basically sleep is Ryan Mallett's favorite thing and worst enemy. It's important to get your Z's, just not before really important things like meeting with NFL teams about your future, practice, or traveling for a road game.
Here are some tips for Ryan Mallett:
1. Buy an alarm clock.
2. Take micro naps to avoid oversleeping.
3. Set up an elaborate Rube Goldberg machine that wakes you up by dripping boiling water on your toe.
4. Never sleep again ever.
5. Hibernate like a bear so you need less sleep.
For what it's worth, Mallett has an excuse for what happened but is accepting that it's not okay.
