With six seasons, including multiple playoff runs and a Super Bowl appearance, under his belt, Demaryius Thomas doesn't encounter many firsts on a football field. Thomas is playing in the 92nd game of his career on Sunday and it is very different from the first 91 in one big way.
For the first time in his career, Thomas' mother Katina Smith is watching him play in person.
Smith spent 15 years in prison before being released in November. She then spent time in a halfway house with 60 days of travel restrictions. With those now lifted, Smith made the trip to Denver where she was able to see Thomas play.
She even has a customized jersey for the occasion!
