Robert Nkemdiche’s to-do list: sign rookie contract, treat family, buy pet panther

Like dozens of others, Robert Nkemdiche plans to cash in on his NFL rookie contract this season. But the likely first-round pick not only wants to give back to his family --€” he also wants to get a pet ... panther.

ESPN reported Nkemdiche watches videos of humans playing with panthers and isn't deterred by the potential danger.

Can't he see the headline? Visitor Mauled by NFL Star Robert Nkemdiche's Pet Panther.

"If someone comes over and is scared, I'll put the panther away."

Hopefully that works out for the Ole Miss D-lineman, who could soon see some important guests arrive at his doorstep. Nkemdiche recently befriended Morgan Freeman, who invited him to play at his blues club.

The Carolina Panthers, of course, responded. Although ... something tells me this isn't exactly what he's looking for.
