When you win a batting title, you are rewarded with a 34-inch Silver Bat to commemorate the accomplishment. If you win a batting title while playing for the Miami Marlins, you also receive a giant pendant. Dee Gordon won the National League batting title last year and was rewarded appropriately on Tuesday.
The pendant is so large, Gordon is legitimately shocked to receive it. You know it's significant when someone in the crowd has to ask if it's a necklace or a belt buckle and is probably serious. Just look at that thing.

Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria presented the pendant to Gordon, a tradition he's created when players win award. Loria gave Hanley Ramirez a similar pendant when he won the batting title while with the Marlins in 2009. While the pendant certainly cost thousands of dollars, Gordon's reaction was priceless. From shocked to pure joy.

Now if we know Gordon, that pendant will soon make it's way to a McDonalds where Gordon can order some McNuggets.
