Just a reminder: Brian Wilson might actually be insane. At the very least, he is possessed of (with? by?) a sort of lunacy that typically doesn't quite make it to professional sports. (Sound's a little low on the video, so turn yours up.)
This is Wilson giving a postgame press conference tonight. In it, he refers to "The Machine," a mention that gets the interviewer to all but recoil on camera.
But why is "The Machine" so unnerving? Well, that's after the jump.

I could watch this five or 15 or 50 times and still not quite grasp everything going on here. Granted, I'm not a Giants fan, and not a McCovey Chronicles regular, so I'm not quite as familiar with Wilson's act as some.
But then, I'm not sure I want to be.
