Josh Hamilton hasn't played since September 4th after colliding with the wall, but via Anthony Andro, we learn that he's nearly back. Hamilton swung the bat at a subjectively-observed 95%, and is looking to return as the designated hitter on Friday. Doing so would give him three games to get geared up before the start of the playoffs.
