You ever have one of those moments where a handshake turns into something more? You're ready to call it all good, but the partner in said handshake just isn't quite ready to let go. It leads to a somewhat awkward moment where you're just shaking hands for a little bit too long, all while wondering when this all will end.
Now magnify that by about 1,000 and you're in the ballpark of the awkward handshake between Bobby Valentine and John Henry on Thursday. Valentine was introduced as the Boston Red Sox manager, which is great, but the introduction didn't go so spectacularly. Or maybe it did if you were watching Valentine try to shake hands and laughing.
You see, not only did he essentially take Henry's hand for a ride, he also attempted to pull off the dreaded oppo-handshake. You know the one: instead of shaking right hand to right hand, one side goes with the right while the other chooses the left. It's just a messy situation.

Yes, this is slow-motion, but you still get the idea here.
