Saturday, the postman showed up at my door with a heavy box full of Maple Street Press's outstanding preseason annuals. This time around, there are a dozen of them, covering the Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies, Tigers, Mets, Red, Cubs, Brewers, Rangers, Cardinals, Twins and Braves. And as an added bonus, nearly every edition features analysis by SB Nation bloggers. Highest Recommendation (if you're still cool with dead trees).

Thanks for the shoutout, Rob. I hear the Phillies annual is especially good…

Of course it is.
But not as classy as the Braves annual. ;-)
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." Oh, indeed. The Braves annual is 128 pages of pure, unfiltered CLASS.
