Last summer, I chose to spotlight the Twitter account of A's starter Brett Anderson. In a sea of uninformative and carefully-edited athlete and celebrity Twitter accounts, it was Anderson's that I found to be the most revealing and honest in its own simple brand of mellow relatability.
Then, in late August, Anderson posted a borderline offensive picture and promptly shut down his account at the team's request. Without Anderson, we were left to pick through the trash that remained, like the pointless account of David Ortiz or the obnoxiously annoying account of Nick Swisher.
But this story, it turns out, has a happy ending. On Tuesday night, March 15th, for reasons unknown, Brett Anderson returned to Twitter. And he didn't just return; he returned in classic Brett Anderson style. I quote:
Back...
The ellipsis suggests that Anderson has a lot on his mind that he wants to share. And I, for one, can't wait to read it.
