The Yankees have added a handful of aging veterans to the pitching staff this offseason, but the Bronx Bombers may be looking to another over-the-hill hurler in Kevin Millwood.

New York, which penned Bartolo Colon, Mark Prior and Freddy Garcia to deals this past winter, reportedly offered Millwood a deal after scouting the 36-year-old righty at UC-Irvine on Wednesday, according to Jon Heyman.

So it's come to this, has it? Thursday morning, Millwood pitched in a showcase. And he must have showed something, to somebody. I will note, just in passing and because it's the sort of thing I do, that in going 4-16 last season, Millwood became just the fourth pitcher since World War II to start 30 or more games and win four or fewer.
