Sports Analytics Conference Brings Out The Stars

I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but today and tomorrow I'll be attending -- and for 90 minutes Saturday morning, participating in -- the fifth annual MIT-Sloan Sports Analytics Conference. The list of featured speakers is ridiculous, and I won't even mention some of the people I met Thursday night at the reception.

The bad news (for you) is that the event has been completely sold out for some time. The good news is that some of the panel discussions -- including, I hope, the Baseball Analytics panel, which I'm moderating -- will be streamed live via the Web. However you do it, for these next couple of days this is the place to be.

(Oh, and I suspect Dave Pinto will be live-blogging at Baseball Musings, I'll be doing something somewhere, and you can always check #ssac on Twitter.)
