Update: The unidentified fan has reportedly passed away.
One year and one day after a fan fell from Rangers Ballpark's club level onto its lower level, another fan has fallen out of the Texas Rangers home park's stands. He was reportedly removed from the stadium on a stretcher. Though some are saying he dove while seeking a foul ball, he actually was attempting to grab a ball that had been thrown into the stands by a player after a foul ball bounced off the left field stands.
Here's the video, via the Dallas Morning News' Rangers Blog:
That's from the Oakland Athletics broadcast, as the Rangers feed apparently opted not to show the accidental slip by one of its hometown fans. We'll hope he's all right, though the word on Twitter is that he may have broken an arm or two. Looking at how tight of a space he fell into, for him to walk away with relatively minor injuries could probably be considered good news.
