Boston is moving forward with the same 25 players it used for the division series.
The Boston Red Sox are sticking with the same playoff roster for the ALCS that they used in the division series, reports Tim Britton of the Providence Journal.
Manager John Farrell told Britton that the club reviewed their options but didn't come upon anything "glaring," stating that there are "no injury issues that would have prompted an adjustment so we stay as we've been."
That means that speedster Quintin Berry will stay among the chosen 25 along with southpaw Felix Doubrount, who was the only Boston player to not appear in the division series. Doubront will remain as a long relief option out of the bullpen, leaving lefty reliever Matt Thornton at home for another series.
Here's the roster in full:
Starters (4): Clay Buchholz, John Lackey, Jon Lester, Jake Peavy
Bullpen (7): Craig Breslow, Felix Doubront, Ryan Dempster, Franklin Morales, Junichi Tazawa, Koji Uehara, Brandon Workman
Catchers (2): Jarrod Saltalamacchia, David Ross
Infielders (5): Xander Bogaerts, Stephen Drew, Mike Napoli, Dustin Pedroia, Will Middlebrooks
Outfielders (6): Quintin Berry, Mike Carp, Jonny Gomes, Jacoby Ellsbury, Daniel Nava, Shane Victorino
