2013 World Series: Game 5 lineups

Eileen Blass-USA TODAY

Jonny Gomes bats cleanup for Boston, and Shane Robinson draws the start for St. Louis.

The World Series is tied at two games apiece, so Game 5 on Monday will determine who goes into the final two games at Fenway Park with their backs against the wall.

The Boston Red Sox will once again be without right fielder Shane Victorino, who missed Game 4 because of back tightness. Game 4 hero Jonny Gomes is in the cleanup spot, and, with Jon Lester on the mound, David Ross draws the start behind the plate for the second straight game. Ross normally caught Lester's games during the regular season, but also got the nod over the struggling Jarrod Saltalamacchia in Game 4 with Clay Buchholz pitching.

1. Ellsbury - CF
2. Pedroia - 2B
3. Ortiz - 1B
4. Gomes - LF
5. Nava - RF
6. Bogaerts - 3B
7. Drew - SS
8. Ross - C
9. Lester - SP

The St. Louis Cardinals have also shuffled their outfield, as Shane Robinson replaces Jon Jay in the lineup. Jay has struggled at the plate throughout the playoffs and is yet to collect an extra-base hit; Robinson, meanwhile, is 5-for-13 with a home run and a double in limited playing time.

1. Carpenter - 2B
2. Robinson - CF
3. Holliday - LF
4. Beltran - RF
5. Molina - C
6. Craig - 1B
7. Freese - 3B
8. Kozma - SS
9. Wainwright - SP

(updated)

The pitching match-up is a re-match of Game 1: Jon Lester vs. Adam Wainwright. Lester got the better of his opponent in that game, shutting out the Cardinals for 7⅔ innings while Wainwright and the St. Louis defense failed to stop Boston's offense.

The broadcast starts at 8:07 p.m. ET on Fox.
