Scott Diamond (1-2), 4.32 ERA, 3.74 FIP

Sanchez might not be a household name, but in his last start, he joined an exclusive club occupied by the likes of Randy Johnson and Nolan Ryan as pitchers to have both a 17-strikeout game and a no-hitter on their resume. He'll have a more difficult time trying to punch out the Twins hitters, who have fewer strikeouts than just three other teams so far. Sanchez's tremendous game began a five-game winning streak, and he will seek to prolong it to sweep the Twins out of the Motor City.

The Bucs and Brewers combined for 13 homers in the first two games of the series, with two apiece by Jean Segura and Yuniesky Betancourt. It would be surprising if the rookie Burgos or the mediocre Gomez bucked the longball trend.

Lance Lynn (4-0), 3.10 ERA, 3.12 FIP

Homer Bailey (1-2), 2.81 ERA, 3.08 FIP

While the Bucs and Brewers slugged it out in the first couple games of their series, the Reds and Cards locked into tight 2-1 pitchers' duels in their two games. Each side took one game, as Mat Latos outpitched Adam Wainwright and Jaime Garcia beat Bronson Arroyo. Both Lynn and Bailey are fine starters who could keep it going: Bailey probably has a slight advantage because his overall numbers are a tad better and he has not had control problems like Lynn in 2013 (4.0 BB/9 vs. 2.5 BB/9). He has yet to beat the Cardinals at Busch Stadium, though.

Los Angeles Angels at Oakland Athletics

Tommy Milone (3-2), 3.38 ERA, 3.27 FIP

C.J. Wilson (2-0), 4.30 ERA, 4.35 FIP

3:35 pm ET

FOX Sports-West, CSBA

On this date last year, the Angels were in the middle of sweeping the Twins after beginning the season 7-15. They've dropped four in a row to the Mariners and A's to drop to 9-17, eight games under .500 again. Only the Angels, Astros, and Marlins have yet to reach ten wins, a club that must infuriate high-spending Angels owner Arte Moreno. What can the Angels do to shake it up if they cannot quickly turn it around? (Quick, who's the most expensive free agent next winter?)

Boston Red Sox at Toronto Blue Jays

Time

1-May

Mark Buehrle (1-1,6.35 ERA, 5.38 FIP

Clay Buchholz (5-0), 1.19 ERA, 2.33 FIP

7:07 pm ET

NESN, RSN

Don't look now, but Jays slugger Edwin Encarnacion is heating up. He surprised baseball with 42 dingers last year, and he has seven homers in his last seven games. He'll have his work cut out for him facing Buchholz though, who had an amazing April in which opponents went deep just once.
