The Dodgers might fire their manager soon, but not if Nick Punto's defense can help it.

Nick Punto is not the tallest of baseball players. He is, however, a fine defensive player who has been lauded for his all-out play in the field, and it results in moments like these from Wednesday's Dodgers game against the Brewers:

Punto is one of those guys who always looks like he's overthrowing first base, but the ball is just coming from a lower spot. That goes double when dude fires it from his knees. To his credit, it's an accurate and strong throw, and that's better than some shortstops manage with their legs to assist.
