2013 MLB Draft results: OF Clint Frazier selected by Indians with the No. 5 pick

Mike Stobe

Considered by some to be the best prep player in the draft, Frazier is a great pick-up at this spot.

The Cleveland Indians have selected Loganville (Ga.) High School outfielder Clint Frazier with the No. 5 pick in the 2013 MLB Amateur Draft.

Known for his fiery-red hair, Frazier has been in a heated race with rival Georgia high school outfielder Austin Meadows for the title of "top prep outfielder," but it appears as though Frazier has pulled ahead for most of the industry.

With Frazier's smallish 6'1, 190-pound frame, many are concerned about his ability to put on much more weight without sacrificing athleticism. If he has to move to a corner, his bat will have to carry him -- and it may well be good enough to do it.
