The Mariners beat the Athletics 3-2 on Friday night, ending the game with a contested strikeout by closer Fernando Rodney, getting Oakland's a Nick Punto looking to end the game with the tying run on third base.
Punto, and manager Bob Melvin, did not take the call well.
Punto's wife, not a fan of the call against her husband, chimed in on Twitter:
Ball was higher then my boobs and not my old boobs... I might of had the same reaction as nick just a dish towel instead of a helmet :/

Asked after the game about the final pitch, Rodney's response was priceless.
Rodney on whether last pitch to Punto was a strike: "All my pitches are strikes."
