The 2015 MLB Home Run Derby will take place on Monday night live from Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, with eight contestants vying for the crown in a new, three-round bracketed format that will be televised by ESPN.
The Home Run Derby will feature Albert Pujols of the Los Angeles Angels, Prince Fielder of the Texas Rangers, Todd Frazier of the Cincinnati Reds, Anthony Rizzo of the Chicago Cubs, Manny Machado of the Baltimore Orioles, Josh Donaldson of the Toronto Blue Jays, Kris Bryant of the Cubs and Joc Pederson of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The event will be televised by ESPN and ESPN Deportes beginning at 8 p.m. ET, and will be available online at WatchESPN as well as on radio by ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes Radio.
Chris Berman will continue to provide play-by-play of the event for his umpteenth season of testing mute buttons everywhere after the 20th time he says, "Back, back, back ..."
Berman will be situated up the third-base line at Great American Ballpark, along with analysts John Kruk and Aaron Boone. Reporters Pedro Gomez and Nicole Briscoe will also provide coverage of the event, interviewing players in and around the field.
ESPN will have Baseball Tonight as a pregame show of sorts at 7 p.m. ET, live from the field in Cincinnati, with host Karl Ravech along with analysts Curt Schilling, Buster Olney and Tim Kurkjian. That quartet will occasionally provide updates and reports during the event as well.
Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton will call the Home Run Derby on ESPN Radio.
