The Marlins got blown out in their first game of the year at San Diego. The Marlins lineup couldn't drive in runners from third, and Rob Brantly and Placido Polanco both had costly errors.
The Miami Marlins had an ugly overall game, as they struggled on offense, fielding, and pitching in their 5-0 loss to the San Diego Padres. Wade LeBlanc was ineffective and the Fish committed two errors and had just three hits at the plate.
