Recap: Houston vs. Pittsburgh

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Miguel Tejada's two-run homer in the seventh inning helped the Houston Astros take a 4-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates in the second of three at Minute Maid Park.
Carlos Lee also hit a two-run homer while Jeff Fulchino (6-4) got the win for throwing a scoreless seventh for the Astros, who have won three of four. Brian Moehler gave up two runs on seven hits and three walks in a six-inning start, with four strikeouts.
"It's good that you struggle sometimes because you learn from it," Moehler said. "If you went out there and just (succeeded all the time), you'd never learn."
Andy LaRoche and Ramon Vazquez each drove in a run for the Pirates, who have dropped five straight and 14 of their last 15. Ross Ohlendorf (11-10) got the loss for giving up four runs on four hits and a walk in 6 1/3 innings.
"I felt like a pitched pretty well, it was just those home runs with guys on base," Ohlendorf said.
Houston took the lead in the fourth on Lee's two-run home run to left.
Pittsburgh, though, got the runs back in the fifth on an RBI double from Vazquez and a run-scoring single from LaRoche.
The Astros went ahead in the seventh. Lance Berkman led off with a walk and, after Lee flied out, Tejada made it a 4-2 game with a homer over the left field wall.
LaTroy Hawkins worked a scoreless eighth, while Jose Valverde threw a perfect ninth for his 23rd save.
Houston has won 10 of the 14 games against Pittsburgh this season...Houston's Kaz Matsui stole the 100th base of his career...Valverde has not allowed a run in 17 straight innings...The Pirates have dropped 13 straight on the road...Attendance was 35,213.
