Sergio Santos saw his scoreless streak come to an end on a two-out homer in the bottom of the ninth. He fared even worse in the 10th inning, and he was saddled with the loss in a 6-4 defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The script called for the Dodgers to lose 3-2, their offense falling just short of supporting another quality start from their pitching staff. For 8 2/3 innings, it looked like that would be the case, but after Russ Mitchell decided to improvise the Dodgers yes anded their way to a 6-4 win over the White Sox in 10 innings at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago.

The Dodgers begin their house of horrors that is interleague baseball in an American League park tonight, opening a three-game series with the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field. Both teams are at 20-25 on the season, but have taken different paths to get there. The White Sox are hot now, however, winners of their last three games and nine of their last 12.
