The Dodgers lost 4-2 to the Braves on Wednesday night, but the talk of the locker room after the game was of closer Javy Guerra, who was struck in the jaw by a line drive off the bat of Brian McCann in the ninth inning.

The Braves rallied for three in the ninth inning for a 4-2 win over the Dodgers, taking two of three in the series.

Ted Lilly and Matt Kemp continued their respective hot streaks, but the Atlanta Braves bruised and battered Dodgers closer Javy Guerra for three runs in the top of the ninth inning for a 4-2 win.

The Dodgers got some reasonably good news on Juan Rivera today, as his strained left hamstring will keep him off the disabled list...for now. Rivera was able to do light drills with trainer Sue Falsone today which included stretching and running in place.

Lilly has gone eight full starts and 55 2/3 innings without allowing a home run. It is easily the longest streak of Lilly's career without allowing a home run, surpassing a five-start, 33-inning stretch back in 2001 while with the New York Yankees.
