Aaron Harang pitched his best game of the season, and the Dodgers offense came alive on Thursday night in a 8-1 win over the San Diego Padres at Petco Park to snap a two-game losing streak. The Dodgers have lost two straight games four times this season, and each time they were able to stop the skid after two games.
As the Dodgers finish their two-game series with the San Diego Padres on Thursday, I'm sure manager Don Mattingly would like to have a chance to use his closer to try and end the club's two-game losing streak. Kenley Jansen has pitched in three of the last nine games, with only two save opportunities since he assumed the closer position.
