Cubs Wait Out Longest Rain Delay In Wrigley History, Beat D'backs 8-1
It rained really hard for a real long time at Wrigley Field Friday. But when the rain ended, the Cubs started raining base hits and home runs, and won easily.

It rained really hard for a real long time at Wrigley Field Friday. But when the rain ended, the Cubs started raining base hits and home runs, and won easily.
The Diamondbacks aimed to continue their winning streak on the road in Chicago, but they ran into Diamondbacks killer Alfonso Soriano. Soriano hit two monster home runs off of Ian Kennedy, and the Cubs routed Arizona 8-1.
