These last two games have been a peak into a fantasy world in which the four man rotation works and Colorado has competent pitching. It's certainly a nice vision, but to date it has yet to come anywhere close to fruition.
Josh Rutledge did something with the bat Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitzki have never done as the Rockies won their first series at Dodger Stadium since October 2010.
Giving up extra-base hits to a Rockies shortstop hasn't exactly been newsworthy in recent years, but Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium was a little different. Josh Rutledge drove in three runs with two doubles, leading Colorado over the Dodgers 3-1.
Much of the pregame discussion before the Dodgers' second game against the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium centered around injured players. Adam Kennedy is at the forefront since he is due back the earliest and will necessitate a roster move.
The Dodgers look to rebound from Monday night's loss and will send Aaron Harang to the mound on Tuesday in the second game of the series at Dodger Stadium.
