Dodgers infielder Ivan De Jesus got some bad news this morning, as an MRI revealed a tear of his left oblique, hurt during a swing in the bottom of the seventh inning on Saturday night against the Giants. Manager Don Mattingly said there was no timetable for the return of the infielder.
Three years ago today, on his 21st birthday, Clayton Kershaw hit a home run in a spring training game at Camelback Ranch. Today, he never got the chance to swing the bat, laying down sacrifice bunts in both of his plate appearances.
Clayton Kershaw makes his third start of the Cactus League on Monday afternoon, and it comes at the same place as his second start. The Dodgers are in Goodyear today to battle the Cleveland Indians, five days after Kershaw struck out six in his four scoreless innings.
