Alex Cobb and Michael Pineda were both sharp, but the the Mariners proved the sharper by the end of the game.

Alberto Callaspo hit a tie-breaking two-run double in the eighth inning, giving Dan Haren and the Angels a 4-2 win and a four-game sweep of the Mariners. The Angels have won their last eight series and are 19-6 in their last 25 games.
