The Dodgers second baseman returns to the team after sitting out with a strained right quad.
Reports out of Atlanta this morning say that Don Mattingly wants to activate Mark Ellis today
This is the sixth consecutive season Ellis has been placed on the disabled list. From 2008-2012, Ellis missed a total of 165 games while on the DL, an average of 33 games per season.
The Dodgers lost second baseman Mark Ellis to a right quad strain during last night's game against the Brewers.
The San Francisco defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers to eliminate L.A. from the playoff hunt Tuesday night. The St. Louis Cardinals wrapped up the second National League wild card spot and will face the Atlanta Braves in a one-game playoff.
