  • Is one of the finest all-round catching talents in the game's history. Still does a nice job throwing runners out, calls a good game and remains excellent with the glove. Retains good power in his bat. Hustles all the time.
Flaws
  • Has never taken a lot of walks throughout his career, so his walk/strikeout ratio is rather porous. Doesn't bat for the high average he once did. Has lost most of his foot-speed.
