Assets
  • Though his fastball rarely breaks out of the low 90s, it looks hotter because of his strategic use of his change-up. He also adds a curve and slider, all with good movement.
Flaws
  • He hasn't figured out how to pitch to major-league right-handed hitters and, for a lefty, doesn't have much of a pickoff move. Leaves the ball up, leaving him prone to the longball.

  • Solid starting potential is quickly fading.
