The A's infielder has re-torn the ACL that forced him to sit all of last season.
Just the worst possible news for Scott Sizemore, who was poised to take the every day 3B job a year ago, then spent a full year recovering from a torn ACL, and subsequent surgery and rehab, in his knee.
Many guys are doing great this spring. Many others are doing not-so-great. Are any of them hurt? Have any of the pitchers contracted Rick Ankielitis? Then quit worrying about small sample size stats!

On March 2nd, I had a chance to interview Scott Sizemore before the game. My main goal for this interview was to get a sense of what this past year - featuring an unexpected injury, a year-long rehab, and the birth of his first child - had been like.
I hate to use the expression "must win game!!!!!!" but we may well look back at February 24th and say, "I had a good sandwich that day." So make yourself a killer sandwich, kick back, and enjoy the A's and Angels from Tempe.
