Assets
  • Primarily a control pitcher, Ritchie keeps hitters off balance with an array of off-speed junk. He throws an effective sinking fastball, a devastating slider and a tight change-up. His curveball is reliable and so is his arm strength. He's got an above-average pickoff move and is solid defensively.
Flaws
  • Early inning success. Occasionally Ritchie takes the mound seemingly unprepared both physically and mentally. However, he gets stronger as the game moves on.
Career Potential
  • Once a quality starter, he's now a decent middle reliever.
