Assets
  • He's a switch-hitter who hits about equally well with a quick bat from both sides of the plate. With his good eye and ability to make contact, he can make a pitcher work, lengthening at-bats by fouling off pitches until he takes a walk or finds one he can drive.
Flaws
  • The major knock on Offerman has always been his defense. He's a notorious ball-booting, over-throwing and occasionally just plain lazy infielder. He's had some injury problems that have stunted his running game.
Career Potential
  • The end is near, but he can still contribute off the bench.
