Assets
  • Wilson has good control over his pitches, including a strong fastball, which he's not afraid to throw in tight. He can keep the ball low in the zone and on the ground off the bat, which means few in the bleachers.
Flaws
  • Though, as mentioned, relatively few of his pitches really find the sweet spot on the bat, he has been quite hittable. Base-runners love to run with him on the mound.
Career Potential
  • A solid mid-late-rotation starter looking to return from a torn labrum.
