Boston avoids a DFA by placing Mortensen on the DL instead.
Mortensen came out of nowhere to help the 2012 Red Sox bullpen, but whether 2013 will be more of the same is an open question
Clayton Mortensen is with Boston yet again, but with expanded rosters active, he won't leave this time.
Why did the Red Sox deal Marco Scutaro, Daniel Bard is a bargain at twice the price, and Rob Neyer is flummoxed.
According to multiple reports on Saturday, the Boston Red Sox and Colorado Rockies agreed on a deal that swaps Marco Scutaro for Clayton Mortensen.
All things considered, Clayton Mortensen was marvelous. Let's hope he doesn't get Bum'd (or, as we're more familiar with, Hammel'd). RUNS OR GET OUT.
