The Minnesota Twins have activated utilityman Trevor Plouffe from the disabled list and optioned middle infielder Tsuyoshi Nishioka back to Triple-A.
The Twins' third baseman, who's also played almost everywhere else on the diamond this season, is back from a DL stint.
