  • The big righty generates big-time power with his ample frame, topping out at about 97 mph. He throws a two-seamer as well as a four-seamer, plus a change-up.

  • His bulky frame keeps him from having the kind of endurance you like to see in a big starter. It took him until 2004 to find a comfortable set of mechanics.
