Assets
  • Cook is a pitcher who throws hard and has a nasty sinker to keep the ball down off the bat. That fastball can crank up to 98 mph and the sinker isn't much softer. He also adds a "slurve" and good stamina.
Flaws
  • Has been known to get a little lazy when he's ahead in the count, and that's when the hits pile up. Left-handed hitters pound him.
Career Potential
  • Settling in as a reliable mid-rotation starter.
