  • A good control pitcher with the poise to start. Has enough zip on his fastball to strike some batters out and flashes a nice curveball. Deceptive and somewhat crafty.

  • Major injuries in the minors (to his elbow and shoulder) have slowed his progress and sapped some of his pure stuff. Not a great candidate to dominate batters.
