Assets
  • The Rocket continues to live up to his nickname, topping the radar gun in the mid-90s. He's got a surly splitter that teases hitters into thinking it's a nice straight fastball and then the bottom drops out of it. His ferocious intensity and dedication to the art of pitching has kept him on top.
Flaws
  • Occasionally has trouble with left-handed hitters and sometimes has trouble keeping the ball down. Clemens used to be one of the top innings-eaters in the league but he no longer has the stamina to go all the way regularly.
Career Potential
  • The best pitcher of his generation.
