  • He has superb all-around defensive skills, handling throws in the dirt and stretching to beat the runner. His long arms allow him to reach out and swat anything over the fence. He adds surprising speed for a first baseman.

  • Too often he makes horrible decisions on the bases. He strikes out with the worst of them and has had trouble hitting as consistently against lefties.
